Paranoid Olympics

This year was the first that I didn't even care about The Games. Wasn't even curious. People flew through the air, slid, skated, soared and I'm sure all very spectacularly without my even noticing. Previously, it seemed that we could, as a world and a race of humans, come together and celebrate the very best physical achievements of our kind.

No longer.

Sochi is Just Colorful!

Our good friend, Mr. Roy G. Biv (also known as the LGBT Rainbow Flag) has reminded me that all design is powerful design. The implied slight rings with resonance in Russia where propaganda is a high art form. Or was. Or who cares, I just like the fact that Google "decided" to use this color design scheme over, say, any other.

Good job, Google.
